I downloaded Skype only to find out that I can only call one number free, and theres now a bloody fee to call even a land line.

So does anybody know of any VoIP internet phone typed programs or websites which allows you to call UK landlines from your computer completely FREE?

   All the VoIP services I know allow free calls only when the person you’re calling has the same service installed – Skype to Skype for example. Calls to ordinary phones are chargeable.

   There really is no free way to contact an international landline. There are some companies though that offer a minimum amount to make those calls.

   It’s only 2c a minute to call the UK on skype. Are you seriously that cheap?

Hi, I was just curious to this Asterisk service I found. I kind of came upon it by accident through a chat forum where someone was mentioning it was a great service that didn’t have all of the hassles as regular phone company service. I’m not sure exactly what it is or what it does though…is it for home lines or more like a business? Is there a lot of programming and parts to buy?
