Rynga VoIP Review

Rynga BetamaxRynga VoIP is a Betamax/Dellmont Company and its services are largely similar to rest of the voip websites run by Betamax. The only difference usually is the call rate and number of free countries included.

So it is prudent to select one among several Betamax/Dellmont services based on whether or not your country(where you make maximum calls) is included in free call list or not. If it is not, then you select the service that offers cheapest calling rate.  As far a quality is considered, I have found them all to be of good quality.

So, if you regularly make calls to following countries then Rynga will definitely suit your calling needs because it offers free international calls to these countries for a period of 120 days from last payment. The countries included are:

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Moscow, Singapore, Slovak Republic, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela.

The list keeps changing so do cross check on their website just to be sure.
These free calls can be made to mostly landline numbers but in certain countries even mobile calls are free. But the package is only for 120 days and to keep availing the benefits of the deal you need to re-charge your Rynga account after every 120 days. A bit tricky, right?

The credit in your account never expires and there is no account maintenance/administration charge. You may use this money to make calls to countries that are not free. But if you have no such requirement, then you can use the balance by paying the regular charges to make calls to same countries that were free till 120 days. Further, there is no connection fee charged and there is no account maintenance/administration charge.

You can use the Rynga to make calls from your Computer, Smartphone, Mobile Phone and also from Landline/Fixed Phone.

  • In order to make calls from your computer, you may either download and install their official softphone on your computer or you can use a third part SIP phone like X-lite and configure it to make calls. If you don’t want to install any software, then you may make call using the browser version that first calls your phone number and then connects you to the other international number. Such calls however cost more as you end up paying for both calls.
  • To make calls from your Mobile Device like iPhone, Android phone, Windows Phone or Symbian phone etc, you need to have access to Wifi, 3G or 4G network. If you have them, then you can download Rynga’s MobileApp and start making calls right from your mobile device. Alternatively, you may also configure other third-party SIP mobile Apps to make calls through Rynga Network.
  • If you don’t have a smartphone and want to make calls from ordinary mobile phone or Fixed/landline phone, then you can make use of local access numbers that are provided for most of the countries. This system works like calling cards and here you may also need to pay your mobile phone/fixed phone service provider for calling local access number in addition to the regular calling rate that you will pay to Rynga. Rynga does not provide toll free local access numbers.
